In the manner of Georges Jacob. Private collection Geneva, Switzerland. Gray glazed walnut chairs finely carved with acanthus, rosettes, palmtip leaves. The upholstered back “en cabriolet” attached to a curved seat rail.
Mahogany finely carved dining chairs with an urn and garland crestrail between outset corners, a ribbon on the apron, and fluted legs headed with rosettes.
Walnut high-back chairs with conforming bronze sabots and original leather with gold tooling. The in-swept and tapered legs are typical of Jallot, see Foucart's Les Decorateurs des annees 40 for a similar example, p.128.
